The House System: Cultivating Excellence

To foster a healthy spirit of competition, team collaboration, and a sense of belonging, all students from Classes I to XII are divided into four distinguished houses, named after globally renowned universities. This system prepares students to set their sights on top institutions worldwide.

These houses are led by dedicated House teachers, House Captains, and Vice-Captains. They assume key responsibilities, including conducting the morning assembly and maintaining discipline, all under the guidance of the Coordinators.

Student Council: Leadership in Action

The Student Council embodies leadership and democratic principles. It comprises the Head Boy, Head Girl, and Sports Captains, overseen by the Physical Education Department. The Council meets periodically to discuss school-wide matters, fostering a shared sense of solidarity, loyalty, and team spirit among students.

Merit Scholarships and Awards

• Merit Scholarships : "Merit Scholarships are awarded to Grade 10 students who excel in their board exams, covering tuition fees for Grade 11. This initiative recognizes and rewards academic excellence, empowering talented students to pursue their education without financial constraints."
• Commendation for Academic Performance :To recognize scholastic excellence, a Commendation Certificate is issued to deserving students from Nursery to Class XII based on their achievement in each academic term.
• Awards and Certificates :Merit and participation certificates are issued throughout the year for performance in various Intra-class, Inter-house, and assembly activities.

Student Well-being and Guidance

School Counselling Services

Our dedicated School Counsellor, a specialist in Child Psychology, plays a vital role in student development. The counsellor works closely with teachers and parents to identify and effectively support children who require special care or attention. They offer expert assistance in cases of:

• Learning disabilities and hyperactive behaviors
• Slow learning
• Temporary behavioral changes due to external factors, bereavement, or family illness. Parents are encouraged to consult the counsellor if they observe a change in their child's behavioural pattern.

Career Counselling

We provide robust career counselling and guidance to students and parents, particularly for those in Classes IX to XII. An Expert Professional Counsellor and Guide is appointed to help students set goals, navigate challenges, and make informed decisions about their future. Parents are often provided the opportunity for one-to-one consultations with the expert.

Beyond Academics: Co-curricular Excellence

AVENUES Senior Secondary School offers a vibrant and diverse range of student activities to promote holistic growth and skill development.

• Structured Programs: We host National Cadet Corps (NCC) classes, providing military training and social service opportunities
