Avenues School was founded in 2017. It is a Senior Secondary English Medium School run by Sri Sri Venkateswara Educational Society. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The aim of the school is to provide a holistic system of Education; based on Indian Culture and Tradition.
The curriculum is designed to ensure an all-round development of each student. Apart from being comprehensive, technological methodology is introduced at all stages to develop the intellectual personality to achieve academic success. The medium of instruction is English and special emphasis is laid on both written and spoken English at all levels.
The scheme of studies is structured and flexible while the link between Primary, Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary stages is integrated and phased out.
Regular Open House sessions are organized to provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to meet the teachers and discuss the academic progress of their wards.
At this level emphasizes a development-based curriculum from Nursery to Grade 5, focusing on essential subject concepts, holistic growth, and strong collaboration with parents through regular assessments and progress monitoring. For Nursery to Grade 2, the Macmillan curriculum is used, while Grades 3 to 5 follow the Oxford NEP-aligned framework.
KARADIPATH is a specially designed curriculum for Grade 1 to Grade 5 students, focusing on all-round development and nurturing young minds. As a trusted knowledge partner, we empower students to excel academically and grow into confident, capable individuals.
Emphasis is also laid on developing positive attitudes and healthy habits among students. Apart from preparing students for academics they are also taught the importance of dignity, honesty and high moral fibre during their schooling at AVENUES.
For Grades 6 to 8, the NCERT syllabus will be followed, which emphasizes broad conceptual learning and balanced development in academic, practical, and co-curricular areas. Students learn core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social Science, English, and Hindi or Telugu, and may also have opportunities for vocational training, arts, and computer education in accordance with National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines.
A smooth transition from childhood to adolescence is facilitated by imparting comprehensive value and value-based education.
A two-year, period moves students into top gear as they develop both depth and breadth of context in theory and application. Individual attention through remedial enrichment classes are the stages used for students to prepare to face the All-India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) conducted by the (CBSE) Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
This is the plus two stage in the 10 + 2 pattern of education leading to the All-India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) conducted by the (CBSE) Central Board of Secondary Education.

The combination scheme of subjects may be changed as required/advised by the CBSE. No change of Subjects is permitted in Grade-XII.
Students who pass the All-India Secondary School Examination (Class-X) do not automatically qualify for Admission to Class-XI. The school deserves the right to refuse the admission of any student whose Conduct or Academic Performance is not up to the mark.
It is obligatory to speak in English within the School Premises.
AVENUES has established a tie-up with Aakash Educational Services as its knowledge partner to offer specialized coaching for competitive exams, including JEE (Main & Advanced) and NEET. Through this partnership, students at AVENUES can access expert-led test preparation modules, comprehensive study materials, and regular assessments, specifically designed to prepare them for engineering and medical entrance exams.
In order to inculcate belongingness and team spirit and also a healthy spirit of competition, students of classes I to IX Students are divided into four houses:

To ensure the development of leadership qualities in the students, four houses led by an House masters, House mistress, House Captains and Vice-Captains to inculcate healthy competition amongst students. These Houses assume the responsibility of conducting assembly and maintaining discipline in the school. All Houses work under the guidance of Coordinators.
The Student Council consists of the Head Boy, Head Girl and Sports Captains and are monitored and supervised by the Physical Education Department.
The Student Council members meet periodically to discuss common problems and they learn to share a sense of solidarity, loyalty and team spirit.
Merit Scholarships are awarded to Grade 10 students who excel in their board exams, covering tuition fees for Grade 11. This initiative recognizes and rewards academic excellence, empowering talented students to pursue their education without financial constraints."
Merit and participation certificates are issued to students throughout the year for taking part in various activities, competitions and assembly activities at the intra-class, class, Inter house levels.
The school arranges for remedial classes in certain Subjects after school hours to help students improve and come up to a desired level.

The school encourages students to participate in various Olympiads as National Science Olympiad, Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics, National Talent Search Examination and International Mathematics Olympiad from Class III upwards. The students also participate in Spell Bee Competitions.
To recognize and appreciate excellence in academic achievement in each term and encourage students to perform better, a Commendation Certificate is issued to the deserving students from Nursery to XII.
Avenues Senior Secondary School, offers a vibrant and diverse range of student activities beyond its academic curriculum. The school hosts National Cadet Corps (NCC) classes, as well as enriching co-curricular opportunities including yoga, karate, chess, and dance, providing students with holistic growth and skill development.
The school counsellor is a specialist in Child Psychology and, therefore, plays a vital role in the development of children who need special care or attention.
The counsellor identifies such children and helps the teachers and parents to deal with these children effectively.
Parents can take the counsellor's help in case they find a change in the behavioural pattern of their child.
The counsellor can particularly help in cases of learning disabilities, hyperactive children, slow learners and children with temporarily changed behavioural pattern due to bereavement! illness in the family or due to some external factors.
